Well...the weekend is over. It was a busy weekend. We started off by attending a service featuring my son's Sunday School class. I couldn't see "D" but I know he was in there singing (or at least pretending to!).
Saturday was all rainy and gross so we took advantage of that and did things around the house while the kids played. My husband, Josh, did a complete overhaul on the basement. It is so great and fun down there! We haven't decorated our new house since we moved in 8 months ago but we've done so much to make it a place we all love to be together! That's what makes a house a home.
Saturday night we met our friends out for dinner at Shanghai Mama's, located downtown. If you haven't been there...go! It's so yummy. They have these BIG noodle bowls that warm and fill you up.
This morning, I revisited a client who had her family photos taken last week. Her ADORABLE daughter "L" is going through a phase and we didn't get a good photo of little "L" and her parents (who are my clients). We decided indoor pictures might make "L" "warm up" to the idea of having her picture taken. She wasn't jumping up and down to see me BUT we did get the job done and I will have some previews for her mom, dad, grandparents and aunt soon.
This afternoon we hosted my son, "D's" birthday party at an indoor baseball facility in West Chester called SWOBAT. It was so much fun watching "D" and all of his friends playing ball. Josh was the pitcher and my brother Marc did the catching. I highly recommend this place if your child is into baseball.
This evening we all went to the annual Sycamore Youth Aviator Cheer Banquet. It was nice being with all of the moms and kids again whom we haven't seen since the season ended. It's a great program and my daugher, "S" was lucky enough to have a fantastic squad coach, Carrie, who really made it fun for the girls. "S" got her trophy and I got some cute shots of the ceremony with my point and shoot so, once again, enjoy the moment but excuse the image!
