The "B" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

The holidays are around the corner. I know this because this time of the year is when family photo sessions fill my calendar while seniors move on to college apps! I feel so lucky to have connected with this family. They found me by way of friends but Ali already had a connection since we grew up one street away from each other!

It was great seeing her in person and meeting the rest of the gang. They were raring to go as we explored the park. The kids, "L" & "C", had boundless energy and we found out that Ali did too! Dennis and I watched in amazement as Ali ran around with BOTH kids in her arms to get them excited throughout the shoot. I hope these "sneak peeks" and the rest of the images still to come were worth the effort!

The "H" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

Ok, I know I've said it before and I'll say it again...I LOVE seeing returning clients. It's such a great feeling to have a job that gives me the opportunity to have rewarding relationships with people I may otherwise not know. This family is no exception. As I said in last year's post, I met Brian at his workplace, Fabulous Frames and Art. They do lovely framing and are just so easy to work with. Just like Brian and his family are easy to work with too. They are super laid back about the session and the pictures. I love how Brian and Jeni let their kids be kids because that's really what it's all about. We just have a good time and, as a bonus, get great shots. Here are some from our recent Fall session.

More "W" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

I promised there were more were last night's image came from and I meant it. The oldest, "H", was "too cool for school"! The middle brother "G" was lots of fun and littlest bro "L" was a little under the weather but did great anyway! Here are a few pictures of the adorable (and active!) boys.

The "W" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

I know it is soooo hard to wait to see your photos. I can't stand the wait between taking the pictures and loading them onto my computer so I give big props to this family for being so patient as I finished up my biggest senior season ever (YAY!). Now I am gearing up for the holidays and my focus is on families.

This family was new to me but their daughter, Amy, wasn't. She is a friend of my husband's and she bought a gift certificate which they all used for this session. I enjoyed seeing Amy again and was delighted to meet the rest of her gang. It was a gorgeous fall day to go along with this gorgeous family! I only had time to blog one image but I promise there are many more where this came from!

The "M" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

What a beautiful family! You probably remember Meghan from her senior session here. We made this session date way back then, in the Spring, when Fall was just a distant season and now it's here!

I am continually amazed when people have lots of kids. I come from a family of four and I have a family of four so I am always fascinated by the large family dynamics. I am also fascinated that the moms, Kristi in particular, had four kids very close together. I know that was probably challenging when they were little but, oh, the reward now! These kids all seemed so close to each other and to mom and dad. I think these photos capture their bond. Enjoy!

Lindsey, Asad & Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

Coming up for air...another post! YAY! Here are Lindsey and Asad's kids. I have been friends with them for years (you may remember Lindsey from my blog header up there and from here and other sessions before I even had this blog) but this is the first year we've done the whole gang together. There were a lot of people involved in the shoot; the kids, the parents and even grandpa. We thought it would be easier to do the session at their home and it turned out to be a great decision. Everyone was relaxed and it shows. I picked some of my fav's for a sneak peek and will leave the rest as a surprise! Enjoy!

"C" at the park

First of all, I can't believe how busy I've been. I have neglected my blog in favor for giving attention to my clients. I'm finding time to catch up now and it feels good.

Here is "C" again. I LOVE reconnecting with families I've worked with before. It's like I just saw them yesterday and it's been a year! You probably remember him from last fall's session. I love seeing how much he changes from year to year. He is so funny, witty and smart. He even had his own ideas for great angles and shots at the new area we explored together. Here are a few that I took that day.

The "T" Children | Cincinnati Child Photographer

This was just such a nice session. I love working on location because everyone is just a lot more relaxed. Mom Sydney and I got along great. Sydney has a store called Best For Babies. It's a great store for all things baby. Check it out here. She was super laid back so it made my job easy to just go with the flow.

Baby "B" was in a great mood. He hung out with us a bit and then took a little snooze. I couldn't decide which state of being I liked him better in so I posted one of each! I may have to get the sleepy smile one as a gallery wrap for my new client space! "A" got home from preschool just in time to save the day as Spiderman! He was quite the spunky little guy. What fun!

The "W" Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

I remember meeting Jenni and her mom at Starbucks last year to discuss her being a Big Shots Senior Model. It seems so long ago. Jenni was/is adorable and her mom and I had a lot to talk about. Fast forward eight months...Jenni has been a very successful Big Shots Senior Model. I've taken her senior photos and met with her and her mom to place her order. I was so excited that they wanted a family session so I could "hang" with them again! I've grown to like her and her family very much and hope it shows in these photos.
