I haven't really blogged much about my 2010 Big Shots Senior Models. Well...I should. I am still signing models but have a bunch already on board. I love the Big Shots Model Program for a lot of reasons. Probably the best reason is that I really get to know these kids. I remember starting off last year barely knowing Jenni, Sara, and Nicole. By the end and until this day, I am in touch with them. I hope to keep up with their exciting lives as they head off to college.
So, now I have my 2010 model program. And, I finally did it! I have wanted to do a snow session for a while now. I begged my daughter but she wasn't into it. My son...forget it! So, I have these amazing Big Shots Senior Models who actually came to ME about doing a snow sesh! I knew they were cool when I chose them but now they're like, supercool! Meeting on a blustery winter day for our first shoot together was a little tough. Usually there's more small talk, more discussion of ideas but when it's 27 degrees out, it's all about getting the shot and getting back in the car! Caitlyn was first. We met at the park and she braved the cold with no coat on. I was going for a youthful, ethereal look and she gave it to me. She even laid down in the snow (those images coming later this week). What a trooper! Suffering for her art! Then it was Austin's turn. I wanted a more edgy look for him and he brought it! I am so excited to work with these two and all of my other models. It's going to be a fun, wild year here at Big Shots. I hope the snow sticks around because I would love to shoot out there again! Anyone...???
