I'm excited to say that one of the projects I was working on is finished and I am so happy with the results. I've been reading Cincinnati Family Magazine since my kids were little. It has great articles and a fabulous calendar in the back with so much stuff to do around town. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot for this publication.

I met with Sherry, the editor, for the shoot and we instantly hit it off. Throw in adorable little "J" and this is what we got! They're featuring an article on how to break your child's habit of being so attached to things such as pacifiers, blankies and stuffed animals so she held onto the little frog. It doesn't hurt that he totally matched her outfit!

Only one image could make the cover but who could take just one of that cutey? There will be more pics of little "J" coming soon.

My Excuse for Bad Blogging...

I know I've been a bad blogger lately but it'll all be worth it. I promise! I'm working on some BIG, AWESOME, EXCITING NEW STUFF!!! It may take a little while so PLEASE be patient :) I will have some new pics up soon. They'll be worth the wait as well.

It's officially 2009 now!!!

The votes have been tallied and we have our FINAL winner of the contest!  Once again, thanks to all of my clients and everyone who participated in the contest.  2008 was great!  And now, it's officially 2009...in Big Shots time!

The winner of the "Highschoolers Big Shots" contest is #6.  Congrats to "K".  I love this picture.  It's great when seniors bring things with them that are important to them.  "K" is an instructor at Perfect North Slopes so it was fitting for her to bring her snowboard along.  

I will be contacting "K" regarding your gift print or wallets!  I will contact everyone who voted for "K" regarding their prizes too.

GIVING WAS AWESOME!!!

Here are some "sneak peeks" for the winning family of my "Giving is Awesome" contest. "N", "S" and baby "A" were so easy to work with and so appreciative of my "gift" to them. "N" has had a lot of hard times in her past but with a loving husband and an adorable baby (seriously...look at little "A" and try not to smile!!!), I think she's well on her way to a happy future.

As for me, I am on a mission to help more people by donating photography and looking for the right outlet to do so. I've got some ideas..do you? Leave a comment below or email me.

By the way, I tried out some new Photoshop Actions on these images just for fun. They seemed to fit the images. Enjoy!

I think all of those snow days got to me because I forgot to post the final contest images of the "Big" Big Shots.  These are part 3 and the FINAL part of the photo contest. In case you're new to the blog, here's the deal: I am posting my favorite images of the past year to remember and celebrate all of the amazing clients I have. I couldn't post an image of everyone so I had to choose.  I've already notified the winners of the other categories and they will be receiving their 11x14 framed prints this week!

The winner of the "Family Shots" Contest won by a landslide.  F7 got the most votes.
