$500-$5,000 for Baby & Child Portrait Contest!

Woo hoo! We can do this!!! My lab is holding a contest for children 12 and under and YOU can win! Cash prizes range from $500-$5,000!!! And the best part is there is NO catch! No entry fee or anything. All you have to do is have a Spring session with me, which you were going to do anyway! I will enter one image per child or group of children from each session into the contest.

Categories for this year’s contest include: Color, Black & White/Sepia, Special Needs, and Humorous. The online contest will consist of four different qualifying rounds and one final round. Each round will last for one month.

There are four qualifying rounds. If you win a round, you are automatically entered into the Final Round, which takes place during the month of July. The Final Round will be judged online by a panel of esteemed photographers. First, Second, and Third places, as well as two Honorable Mentions, will be announced for each category! Cash prizes for these winners include $2,000 for First, $1,000 for Second, $750 for Third, and $500 for each Honorable Mention. One portrait from the Final Round will also receive the highest of accolades -- Grand Prize Winner. The cash prize will be $5,000 for this lucky winner! All cash prizes will be given to the families of the winning portraits-that could be YOU!

So, contact me to schedule your session and be entered in the contest!

It's officially 2009 now!!!

The votes have been tallied and we have our FINAL winner of the contest!  Once again, thanks to all of my clients and everyone who participated in the contest.  2008 was great!  And now, it's officially 2009...in Big Shots time!

The winner of the "Highschoolers Big Shots" contest is #6.  Congrats to "K".  I love this picture.  It's great when seniors bring things with them that are important to them.  "K" is an instructor at Perfect North Slopes so it was fitting for her to bring her snowboard along.

I will be contacting "K" regarding your gift print or wallets!  I will contact everyone who voted for "K" regarding their prizes too.

Stay tuned for some great blog posts/images soon.

I think all of those snow days got to me because I forgot to post the final contest images of the "Big" Big Shots.  These are part 3 and the FINAL part of the photo contest. In case you're new to the blog, here's the deal: I am posting my favorite images of the past year to remember and celebrate all of the amazing clients I have. I couldn't post an image of everyone so I had to choose.  I've already notified the winners of the other categories and they will be receiving their 11x14 framed prints this week!

Now it's time to get to voting. Take a look at all of the images, pick your favorite and email me at marla@bigshotsbymarla.com with the number. The number is located ABOVE each image.

You may vote in each category but ONLY ONE VOTE/EMAIL PER PERSON PER CATEGORY PLEASE TO KEEP IT FAIR! If you want "your" image to win, forward this link to my blog, www.bigshotsbymarla.blogspot.com, to everyone you know and tell them to "Get out and vote!!!". All they have to do is email me at marla@bigshotsbymarla.com with their favorite image. That's all there is to it!

Whoever receives the most "votes" wins an 11x14 framed photo of that image!

Whoever votes for the winner also becomes a winner... free stuff from Big Shots Photography!

Voting ends Friday, February 13th at midnight.
